Pain

This afternoon I take Sarah for her 9 month well baby exam. I'm pretty sure she will get more vaccinations. My heart breaks each time I see her get injected. I know it's for her well being but it still kills me. She is very alert of her surroundings now and I know she is going to begin developing that fear of the doctor's office. My poor baby has no idea she is going to get jacked up today.

She's developed so much since her last visit. She grunts, screams, growls, says ma ma, pa pa, ba ba, waves bye bye (backwards LOL), she crawls backwards, gets on all 4's and rocks (not quite crawling yet but trying to), and she loves to stand and have you practice walking with her. She looks so cute with those chunky legs! I love to hear her laugh...

Savage Animal...

Since I don't get to go to many metal concerts..my outlet has become trash tv or as they call it "Reality tv". I recently got sucked into VH1's "Super Group" which conists of Sebastian Bach, Ted Nugent, Scott Ian, Evan Seinfeld, and Jason Bonham. In the first few episodes they are trying to decide on a name. Fist (*in the KISS font - LMAO*), Celebutard, Godwar (raw dog spelled backwards) are a few names that were bounced around with little enthusiasm. Sebastian tried very hard to push Savage Animal, so much so it's still echoing in my brain UGH. He finally blurted out Damnocracy and that seemed to stick ?! Too "Damn Yankee-ish" for my taste but it is what it is.

I think I've been watching too much VH1... Who would have thought back in the day that VH1 would now host "Metal Mania" which is more interesting to watch then Headbanger's Boob....

Rain

Early Monday morning (3:30ish am) I was awoken by the pounding rain. I go to the front window to see how bad it is and the water is half way up the driveway. YIKES! The den is rather low so all of the articles are moved to the highest point of the house. After doing all that work the water recedes to the curb (sigh of relief). I had asked for the day off weeks in advance because my daughter had an appointment. What a wasted day as we rescheduled the appointment to this Friday. She and I just hung out and watched the news all day. When she got restless we switched to the Cartoon Network to catch a couple of back to back episodes of "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends". That is a cool cartoon.

My brother told me about his wireless bloggining so I thought I would check it out. Seems rather interesting so I thought I would take a stab it.
